7-Grain Rice Bubur Lambuk

Ingredients
2 tbsp sunflower oil
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1 tbsp chopped onion
1 tbsp chopped ginger
2 tbsp dried shrimps, softened and pounded
1.5 litres water
200g 7-grain rice, washed
200g beef slices
1 packet sup bunjut
½ tsp fenugreek
100ml MARIGOLD Evaporated Filled Milk
2 pandan leaves, knotted
1 tbsp chicken seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped spring onions and fried shallots for garnishing

In a pot, heat oil and stir-fry garlic, onion, ginger and dried shrimps until fragrant.
Add in water, 7-grain rice, beef slices, a packet of sup bunjut and fenugreek.
Cover pot lid partially and simmer for 25 minutes until rice is cooked. Add in MARIGOLD Evaporated Filled Milk and pandan leaves. Season with chicken seasoning and salt and pepper to taste.
Garnish with spring onions and fried shallots before serving.
If porridge gets too thick, add in some hot water and stir well.
