Coffee-Flavoured French Toast

Ingredients
6 thick slices bread
4 large eggs
150ml MARIGOLD Evaporated Full Cream Milk
1 tbsp coffee essence
1 tbsp fine sugar
½ tsp salt
Butter (to fry bread)
Honey or maple syrup and fresh fruits

Preheat oven to 180°C.
Beat together eggs, MARIGOLD Evaporated Full Cream Milk, coffee essence, sugar and salt.
Heat a non-stick pan with butter over medium heat.
Dunk each slice of bread in the egg mixture for 1 minute on each side and pan-fry until lightly golden on both sides.
Transfer to a baking tray and bake until puffed for 6 to 7 minutes.
Remove to a serving plate and drizzle with honey or maple syrup and fresh fruits on the side.
For variation, add some grated cheese on top of bread before baking.
