Steamed Glutinous Rice with Jackfruit Topping

Ingredients
250g glutinous rice, washed twice and soaked overnight
200 ml thick coconut milk
2 screw pine leaves
1½ tbsp salt
70g sugar
Jackfruit ingredients:
14 jackfruits, remove seeds, shred it thick
1 can MARIGOLD Evaporated Creamer

Drain and steam glutinous rice in a steamer for 30 minutes. Drizzle a few tablespoons water over rice and continue to steam until rice is fully cooked.
In a heavy-based saucepan, combine coconut milk, screw pine leaves with salt and sugar. Cook it over medium heat until heated through. Do not boil. Turn off heat.
Mixed in hot glutinous rice, keep it covered for ½ an hour or until rice has absorbed all the coconut milk.
Combine jackfruit, MARIGOLD Evaporated Creamer, sugar and cook over low heat, stirring until sugar dissolves and jackfruit is softened.
Serve the sticky rice with jackfruit on the side.
Cover glutinous rice with a clean damp cloth to keep it soft if not consuming immediately.
